The CTR provides comprehensive support for research and development of new medicine, medical devices, diagnostic drugs, diagnostic equipment, and cell therapy
We accept both academia- and industry-initiated early-stage research ideas at the basic, nonclinical, and clinical stages. The R&D Management Committee is composed of research and development experts who oversee the strategic translation of basic research into clinical trials and can propose support packages that include intellectual property strategy optimization, industry-academia-government collaboration, nonclinical and clinical trial design planning, all in accordance with regulatory authorities. We also support investigator- and industry-initiated clinical trials that are ICH-GCP compliant, including those in the early and exploratory stages. Early-stage research ideas are proactively developed and licensed out for industry, aiming for commercialization as early as possible.
